Otto Von Blotto
What's in brew booster 15? 1kg sounds like too much glucose.. it might end up thin and lacking body. The bitterness may be harsh at first too, but only one way to find out I guess!
MichaelD16
no idea what brew booster 15 is it came free with the brewcraft fermenter i was given, i think i have read somewhere its a mixture of glucose and corn syrup with added malt extract, i know i didnt have to add the bag of glucose but thought hell why not. i enjoy an especially bitter beer so not to worried bout the harshness

Canadian Eh!L
Hi Mike, Pardon me but that brew sounds [sick]. Without running the numbers it sounds to me a brew way too dry and bitter. Barely drinkable I'd say.[crying]
ozale
Mike the numbers don't come out to well with that much fermentables, abv 7.7% you will need extra yeast, only moderate bittering, ibu 22.8 (english bitter is usually between 30 - 40) and ebc 8.2, will be light in colour and very thin tasting. hope this helps. ozale
yes 2 packs of yeast should do it Mike but I don't think it's going to be the beer your looking for. why are you wanting to use up all your ingredient's ?
