Daniel B1
hey brewers. im thinking bout doing a selections saaz pils, but doing a parshal mash. looking for a sublte wheat flavour that wont colour the pils. thinking of using the pearl barley(wheat) you get in the soups section at the supermarket and roasting it in the oven. has anyone done this? if so with what kind of results? Hairy
I have never done it but here is an article on it: Brew Your Own: Make your own malt But after reading that I think I will just stick to buying it from the LHBS.
