MichaelD16
Keen to make a high %abv beer up around 9-10%[devil] , can anyone share a recipe that might make this taste decent, cheers
Muddy Waters
The Russian Imperial Stout by PB2 is up around that ABV. I made one a while back but can't drink..too rich for me (for want of a better description). I give a bottle a try every couple of months or so but usually end up tipping them out after a few sips. I'm probably not really selling this as a to-do recipe am I [lol]
MichaelD16
Really twisted my arm [lol] Not a great stout fan personally was thinking something along the lines of extra strong vintage ale on steroids.
MichaelD16
maybe i should just do the extra strong vintage ale to 17-19litres???

GrahamB8
belgian aromatic? You could leave it out, its just an old recipe I had wrote down. Its all about the yeast really, ferment it 23 - 24c.
Guest
Special B can be substituted with CaraAroma if you want. Craftbrewer and a lot of other home brew shops will accept mail orders.
