BenL12
Gday all. This may sound strange but i am chasing a recipe for a lager style beer but dont want to use lager yeast as i have no way yet until the missus gets a new fridge of maintaining the low temps required for a nice lager. Does anyone have any ideas? Any advice would be great. Cheers and Beers
Hairy
Unfortunately you won't be able to make a lager without a lager yeast. Your best option is to use a neutral yeast like US-05 and brew it as low as it will go (say 16 degrees). But it will still be an ale and still produce some ale esters etc. It will still be a beer you can drink though [innocent]
