You will find that they are pretty useless even for us cavemen that still don't have a DIY kit. Search glad wrap or airlocks and you'll probably find a wealth of info on what a crock airlocks are and as a 2 for 1 offer you'll also read about getting rid of your lid and replacing it with glad wrap.
