PB2
Haven't tasted the Tusker but Sarsaparilla Extract is probably a key ingredient. I'm guessing it would need to carry a significant amount of residual sweetness to balance the sars character. This would require some form of artificial sweetenter, if you plan to naturally condition the brew in bottles, or you could use sugar if you can keg the brew, chill it and force carbonate. I'm leading with my chin here - perhaps mix a couple of cans of Thomas Coopers Light Malt Extract in 23 litres and ferment with an ale yeast at 20C. Then drop into a secondary vessel and mix gently with the sars' extract (instructions for how much should be on the packaging), 200g sugar dissolved in a cup of hot water (this is for priming) and sweetener (qty will be trial and error for your own tastes). You may find that your local specialist store has sars' extract
McFrankel
I have often wondered about this as well. I was thinking along the same lines as Benken. Using a high grade sars cordial and actually mixing it with something like colony west lemonade kit?? and then letting it ferment out. As cordial has a high sugar content I am suspecting that it would be a fermentable and need to be fermented out with the other sugars...

I use to drink Tusker Lager (drinkable) in East Africa; Kenya to be specific, then found another Tusker in Vanuatu (terrible), now another Tusker in Adelaide....
