weggl
When I go out and am forced to drink light beer I have what is called here in Sydney a bruiser, which is a light beer with about 1/4 old beer, it becomes a reasonable drink but only reosonable. I am not practically fond of old beer straight, so I was wondering if there is a recipe floating around of a toucan possibly of Coopers Dark and say Lager or Pale Ale, which may give a toned down Dark Ale. Answers would be appreciated. Weggl

Trusty1
The SMOTY's a great beer, but not light. Were you after a light/mid strength version? If so, maybe a can of OS Coopers dark and 500gms of LDM? Or a can of Pale Ale (or Real Ale) and 500gms of Dark Dry Malt. I make a real ale with 600gms each of DDM and Dex and 200gms of maltodextrin. Turns out about the 5ish%ABV and is fantastic.
