[crying] Coopers it's 54kms for me to buy your products please ensure your big retailers have stock on shelves as I couldn't use a coopers product to christen my DIY kit today the 2/11/2013

I can't buy Coppers ginger beer at either Kingory or Dalby Big W of Woolworth s nearest brew shop is Toowoomba. [rightful]

Hey Bruce,

Why don't you buy online?

Delivered to your door and shipping costs probably cheaper than buying petrol and driving all over the place to find supplies which may or may not be on the shelves.

From the old codger, always on the lookout for cost cutting angles.[innocent]

ive never seen any of the " non standard" brews on the shelves anywhere apart from a brew store!

Try BigW if there is one nearby. My local BigW has all the Original and International kits, as well as the brew enhancers and dry malt extract. The only thing they don't have are the Thomas Coopers kits, however I believe that only homebrew stores stock these.

My nearest (20km) BigW and Kmart stock bugger all, usually just some basics, but they **** all over the local/online blokes for prices. I stock up with what they have and suck up and get the rest from the localish brew shop or online.

Hi all,

As I have transport difficulties, I tend to go for the online shopping option.

I have found online shopping at the Coopers store to be quick, cheap and ALL of the products are available.

If you need other stuff, like yeasts and hops, there are plenty of mail order Home Brew stores on the 'net. They too, offer excellent service and products.

Just one word of caution. I never buy anything from overseas retailers because of shipping costs, customs issues etc.

  • 2 months later...

I needed more brew kits as I was getting down on my stash of beer, I brew several at a time, one after the other, and lay them down as I have 200 odd 750m bottles, varying in age from 50 year old pickaxe bottles. Went to Woolworths to find that home brew supplies seem to have been de-listed by my local stores (3). Didn't something like this happen a few years ago? I recall sending a letter of complaint to Coles. Dan Murphy lists Coopers brew kits, but then they are unavailable in store.

Can someone advise stockists who actually carry the supplies.

Our brewing products are yet to be available in all Dan's stores.

The kerfuffle with Coles saw them reinstate our products into 200 stores across the country. Not a perfect result but better than nothing...

The power is with the consumer - if you are not happy, contact the head office and make a complaint.

At the present, Big W is the "go to" store for Coopers DIY Beer products. Also, brewing specialist stores and online.
