Deep End Posted January 12, 2013 Share Posted January 12, 2013 Just thought I'd say Gday, I'm Mick, I've been brewing on and off for about 8 years, probably a habit I picked up as a kid, my ol man used to home brew hardcore. He was on brew nine hundred and something when I left home twenty years ago, so only god knows what number he'd be on now! I just got the barrel out the other day and put my first cider down, yes I know its a beer site, but I have done a few beers in my time and plan to do many more, but I'm giving the boozy apple juice a whizz to see how it goes. I'm from the Apple Isle, may have something to do with the Cider aye? Being from down here, fortunately, there aren't many hassles keeping the ferment temps down, mainly the opposite most of the year. Anyway, look forward to reading through the forum and adding my two cents worth as I go, Top Site, I should of joined years ago.
