JUDDEYE
Gday Coopers Clan , just wondering what extras club members might add to the Coopers green Pale Ale brew tin in order to give it maximum taste and flavour . Also do you replace the yeast with the blue Safel yeast or does the yeast supplied do the job ????? Cheers , Juddeye ( return of the ) :D
rossm
I've made a few pale ale brews, and find that if you follow the directions it turns out pretty bloody good, I found that it needs to be left to condition a month or more, then it's spot on! PB2
G'day Juddeye, when developing the Australian Pale Ale we trialled every dry yeast strain available at the time (including the blue safale S-04). So if you want to experiment with yeast maybe try a Coopers yeast culture from a few bottles in the first instance and see how it goes. I think the recipe with 500g Light Dry Malt and 250g sugar/dextrose is closer to the real thing!
