MarkJ3
Hi all, At the moment I am drinking what I call a Honey Blonde, LME Canadian Blonde 500gms DME kit yeast 400gms Woolworths select honey(no plug intended) there are 4 types here mine says on the label "malty" so I thought perfect.[innocent] topped up to 23 litres Brewed and bottled in April 2012 Problem is it is a bit too sweet Would I be better 1. using the Thomas Coopers Wheat LME can 2. Substituting the DME for UHHH say dextrose or 3. Balancing it out with some hops and if so which hops would be most suitable. Thanks in advance guys[kissing]
AdamH1525226084
Hey Mark What was the final OG on it? If it's too sweet, maybe it didn't ferment out fully? Not sure about hops - that beer isn't meant to be a hoppy one. Maybe maple syrup instead of honey.
