alcohol content??

i just made a coopers draught 23litres with half the dextrose...og1030 fg 1010.....im dumb with maths can someone help me to equate that in alcohol content please..i have called it mid strength these past years but am thinking of making next double batch a full strength...wondering the difference . thanks Ned

Hello Ned, equasion as follows.

 

Subtract FG from OG = 20

 

Divide by 7.46 = 2.68

 

Add 0.5 if bottle priming = 3.18

 

Easy peasy mate, just make sure primary has finished,

I hate long devision, so I do the following (same thing but done differently):

 

Subtract FG from OG = 20

Multiply by 134 = 2680

Add 500 if bottle priming = 3180

Devide by 1000 - 3.180
