Snowbeast
Two days ago I dropped my Hydrometer and now doesn't work. This being my first brew I do not know what to expect. It had a large amount of foam on the top but now (day 6) the foam has dissapeared. It's a Canadian Blonde Kit with BE2. It's now (today) been fermenting for 7 days (24 degrees cel). How long should I leave it to make sure it has fermented? If I can get some hops should I try Dry hop it for a couple of days. My new hydrometer is still in the postal services hands. Cheers, Bruce
Nick
throw some hops in and leave it for another 3 days. at that temp 10 days will be plenty. if you are unsure and want to be safe, bottle into PETS
Guest
Nah... leave it for at least another week. You'll probably have the new one by then but definitely leave it for at least another week anyway.
