Wayne (Captain Yobbo) Posted October 3, 2012 Share Posted October 3, 2012 Ok put down a basic Cervez for the SWMBO last friday I had the Cerveza kit and a box of BE2 that been sitting around for a while so i decided to use it made to 23 litres og 1.039 ptiched yeast at 21 degrees been sitting around 18 -19 degree's since Now my problem is this it is wednesday and I still have a layer of foam/krausen usually after 4 days all the foam and krausen have gone so wondering what is going on. Guest Posted October 3, 2012 Share Posted October 3, 2012 All seems normal to me mate. The krausen has a mind of its own and no 2 krausens will be the same. I have had barely any krausen on some brews and have had volcanic eruptions on others. Some will fade away to nothing and some will linger on forever. Nothing to worry about.
