Big R
Made it a few years ago now. was one of the best I had made using just white sugar at the time. Have one ready to bottle now using BE1. Just a note, I had company come over and we were having a Draught, when my friends wife, who is not a beer drinker, asked for a taste and then wanted a bottle. Shows how good it is. Just bought a six pack of Sparking Ale. Sure glad I can make Coopers from kits. That 6 pack cost as much as a can of wort.
GregT5
I use the OS Draught can as a base most of the time. It is a little more bitter than the Aus Pale Ale. I just add 1kg LDM & 200g Dextrose & then vary the hops. Have been using Cascade hops (dry hopped) but the last brew I used Cascade & Nelson Sauvin hops to try & replicate a Fat Yak style. A very good session beer.
Guest
The Draught cans is one of the better ones imo. It is up there with the Pale Ale.
