Smithy
Hey smart people, I (being not so smart) bought 2 packets of Craft Brewer German Ale (K-97) yeast to use in a Belgian Wit coming up. But after some investigation, it's not going to do the beer any justice. So now I have this yeast with no clue what to do with it! Has anyone had any experience with this yeast? I was thinking about making an IPA, but not sure how it'll turn out.
Hairy
Try a Dusseldorf Altbier. They are very nice beers. Altbier - BJCP Guidelines There are plenty of recipes out there on the internet thingy.
Smithy
Cheers, Hairy. I did some searching around for it and a lot of people seem to not like it. I've never tried an Altbier before so I'm a bit hesitant to brew one. I was hoping it could be used for something that I know. BUT! That just means my local craft beer shop is going to get another portion of my mortgage [devil] [innocent]
