Lucy the blow in.

Just a quick update on Lucy the guinea pig. You may or may not remember that Lucy had obviously escaped from her owners house and decided to go walk about. She decided the buffet in our backyard must've been irresistible and was hellbent on mowing down the vege patch. We finally discovered her rummaging in the backyard and promptly removed her from temptation. Six or so months down the track and after endless attempts to try and track down her owners I think we can safely say that Tan has now officially adopted Lucy Moo Moo.  I get the feeling she knows she picked the right house to invade.  Tan adores her, feeds her all sorts of vege's and a little fruit for a treat....and they both get on like a house on fire. When she lobbed here she was a slim, slender little girl weighing just 850grams. She went for her vet check the other day and weighed in at a fulsome 1.3kg. She's been in a good paddock. 

Anyway she got a big thumbs up from the vet. So as the title of the show goes:

Jeez Mick, I reckon she eats better than I do, certainly looks healthy enough.
