Coral Posted September 8, 2023 Share Posted September 8, 2023 Hi I am complete newbie day 6 first batch just did my day 6 reading and it read at 10 SG ? is that normal I right I though it would be around the 30 SG still? Sometimes people post graphs of their fermentation from fancy in-fermenter hydrometers and it looks a bit like one side of a bell curve. If you followed the instructions there is no problem so just let the fermentation run its natural course, 14 days in the fermenter would be a good start & once the hydrometer reading is steady for 2 consecutive days, you can bottle.
