DaveC12
I got my Coopers kit about six months ago and I've made a couple of batches with it. But those were in warmer weather and now it's winter (here in the US). I want to make another batch, but the warmest place I can keep the fermenter is about 16.7 degrees. I know I want to shoot for 18 to 20 degrees. Will wrapping it with a blanket be enough to bring it up to that range? I don't have any electric heating pads or anything like that, but I'd consider one if I had no other choice. Thanks for any advice!
Hairy
Just try insulating it first. Wrap it in a blanket (or 2) or a sleeping bag. This should be sufficient to warm it a few degrees. If you want to warm it up a fair bit you may need to look at a heating source. Perhaps build a box for the FV and place a heat pad/belt in the box.
