BirkdaleBob
I brew Coopers kits but like to experiment a bit. I do some boiling, and add hops, malt extract etc. One of the local Home Brew Stores I use told me that Brewiser (I use their hops) was closing down their entire range, and then again I saw a post one one of these forums saying that Brewiser was going to be sold exclusively at supermarkets. Any updates on that? Bob
PB2
Bob, Your best bet would be to ask the people who market the Brewiser brand. Probably not a great idea to be discussing the prospects of competing companies and brands in this message board. Anyway, the company is Pacific Brewing, they are based in NSW and are contactable via the net.
BirkdaleBob
Paul, I like to add some aroma hops to my brews. Do Coopers produce a similar product, and if so can I buy it in Qld. Bob
PB2
We don't supply any form of hops at this stage but we are working on it. We have found that the "tea bag" concept gives very little hop character to the brew, unless multiple bags are used. Meantime, your local home brew specialty store should be able to help you out. Kai
I've found that the tea bag approach puts quite strong hop flavour in the bottle for the first couple weeks, but tapers off quite rapidly.
