RoaldV
Yea, I was thinking of something similar for the summer months DarkB. If you plonk your fermenter in a tub filled with 40L of water, it will take a LOT longer for the wort to heat up on a hot day. The more water in the tub, the better! DarkBlade
A question about fermenter size. Given that I am brewing batches at 18L (big yummy stout), 20L (LCPA clone) & a drinkin Ale at 21L I was thinking of getting a larger fermenter to do double batches. Also have in mind to do big Imperial Stout. Should I go for a 60 or 70 litre job? Will there be too much head space for 36-42L of beer in a 70L? That's all. Cheers lads.
