McFrankel
Ok I was just wondering does coriander lend anything to beer? I currently have a mex cev I just put down yersterday using 700 grm light liquid malt extract and 250 grm dex. Not quite BE2 but I was economising with what was on hand [innocent] to keep SWMBO [rightful] happy (still didn't work). I am planning to put in a lemon myrtle tea on Saturday and was wondering if it was worthwhile adding some coridander to it... any opinions would be appreciated. Hairy
Coriander is often used in wheat beers, especially Belgian Witbier. It is often combined with orange. I've never tasted it in a Mex Cev. If this is your first mex cev with the lemon myrtle then I would suggest just leaving it at that, with no corriander. Then include the corriander on your next attempt to see what the difference is.
