Infection starting?

Gary, welcome to the forum.

 

I think you will find that no two brews will look the same on the top. Some will have a lot of krausen & some not much. some will be clear & some will have spots & some patches of foam.

 

If it smells OK & tastes OK let it be.

 

I have not had an infected brew, but but from information gleaned from the guys on here you will know when you have one [sick]

All sounds good with the beer but just curious as to what temps are you fermenting Gary? It must be in the mid thirties at this time of year over there.

 

How are you keeping your fermentor cool?

Yes it is very hot all the time. I have built the "son of fermentation chamber" and so far it has keep the brew at a steady 22 degrees.
