tonyw9
Hey guys, I bottled my first IPA back on 30th April so It has been a few weeks now but it still tastes very green. I guess it's a colder weather thing that it'll take longer than normal to condition up in the bottle? Is this moreso with the IPA or will it be the case will most brews during the colder months? Guest
Whether it is cold or not will effect the priming of your bottles. The colder it is the longer it will take to carb up. (without being too cold of course or it won't carb) The beer is still very young and although drinkable it will improve with age. Nothing to worry about. PB2
[unsure] Green [unsure] What flavours and aromas are you getting from it? If it's bitterness that is the issue, this will mellow with time in the bottle.
