Guest
Just a simple question if I may.... I got myself a 6 pack of Coopers Pale Ale last weekend and poured off 3 stubbies, screwed the lids back on, and placed them in the fridge. Is there a time limit to reactivate these little suckers? Just wondering as they have been in the fridge now for 3 days and I won't be able to work on it until friday night. I am assuming that the yeast will stay dormant until I bring the bottles to room temp. However, I am not sure about the remaining 10ml of beer or so that's also in the bottles. If this goes flat will the yeast be no good? Obviously the best time to do it is when you empty the bottles but I just were not in a position to do so at the time. Muddy Waters
They'll be fine Bill - Not sure what the time limit is but you are certainly well within it.
Guest
That's good news then and just what I wanted to hear. Slightly off topic but, I'm going to start yeast farming soon so I'll have a yeast bank happening :) Obviously not with this yeast but others to come.
