CraigsALE
Hello Beer lovers. I am brewing some beer with just unhoppoed extract = 2 x 1.5 KG Tins. How do I work out my bitterness. EG I have some pride of ringwood for bitterness of Alpha Acid 9.8 and I want the beer to be in the range of 450 IBU. Amarillo or cascade or both will be used for the Aroma Hops towards the end. How do I work out how many grams of POR if boiling them for 60 Mins to achieve the required bitterness. Thanks Craigsale

Muddy Waters
I use the spreadsheet that Bill suggested. If you go to the AHB site you can download version 3 (Go to post 352)
