Coopers Wheat Beer kit

I've heard good things about Coopers kits so I decided to try one out. I purchased the Wheat Beer Kit and I have a question. The liquid malt extract has a black label with gold bars and the top and bottom. My brewing buddies told me this is the pre-hopped version and I shouldn't boil it, but there is also a "tan" version that you can... the bars at the top and bottom are semi-tan, but the majority of the label is black.

Do I boil this extract or just heat the can up in hot water and dump it strait into my fermenter?

Dump the kits straight into your fermenter. There is no need to boil any of the coopers products unless they have been opened prior to putting them in the fermenter.

I believe if you boil the kits it has detrimental effects specifically to the hop aroma and taste.

Dragging this discussion back... (sorry guys)...

Has anyone had experience in using wheat malt as an adjunct to a regular (ie not wheat) beer kit recipe? If so what outcome did you get? good, bad or indifferent??
