Muddy Waters
Unless your desperate for the bottles I'd maybe give it more time and see if it improves - I'd prepare for the worst though. I've never had an infected batch but I have had one bottle which was infected and had similar symtoms (minus the fruitiness).
George J
Well, maybe fruitiness is the wrong description. it is sweetish, hence i used the word fruity.. I might just hang onto the bottles for a few more weeks and see how it turns out.
Canadian Eh!L
i'm with muddy. don't tip it out unless you need the bottles. a month in the primary is a long while. bottling day is not the best part of brewing but the sooner you get them into bottles the sooner you can drink 'um![joyful] aim for two weeks and bottle on the thrid.[bandit] chad
George J
Already been bottled on the 2nd Chad. [biggrin] its been conditioning for almost 3 weeks now. but was in primary for a month, which makes me think it is infected..
Canadian Eh!L
tip them back over easter, then. empty the bottles the old fashion way.[biggrin] by the way, george. what do folks over in NZ have for Easter dinner? don't tell me it's something to do with Kiwi birds, and Kiwi fruit.[lol]

George J
hahaha.. I'll try.. but it tastes so damn funky that I couldn't finish the 750ml bottle I opened last night. I'm not sure what the locals feast on for Easter.. but where I come from, we attack the curries. [biggrin] mmmm.. kiwi bird curry.. now that's an idea![lol]
