Muddy Waters Posted February 9, 2011 Share Posted February 9, 2011 Hi Graham - You will find that any beer that has only been in the bottle 1 week will have very poor head retention (and may not taste great). You really need about 1 month for any beer to start to come into it's own. Sure, they often taste pretty good after a couple of weeks but once you start counting the time in the bottle in months you'll get great beer (hopefully [cool] )with heads that won't die.
