SteveL
If memory serves me correctly, within the last decade I enjoyed a Coopers beer which disappeared from the market...was it Thomas Coopers? Had a photo of the old fellow on the label, I think??

PB2
Thomas Cooper's Finest Export was an ale at 4.9%ABV, packaged as a bright beer. Grabbed the bottle from our museum for a phot
SteveL
That looks like the one Paul...thanks. Is it similar to any current Coopers beer? Cheers
PB2
It's not like anything in our range these days - all our bright beers are fermented with lager yeast. You'll find many a UK bright ale on bottlo shelves (TC's Finest Export was fermented with an English ale yeast) but you might struggle to find one that does not carry late hop aroma. Adam1525228690
Sorry for digging up old topics, but very interesting. Theres a couple of Coopers beers that came and went. One of them was Coopers Black Crow. I think it was named in a competition for the public. It was sort of a brown filtered ale from memory. I quite enjoyed it, but for some reason it didnt stay around too long.
Adam1525228690
Another was this one. Coopers DB. If memory serves me correctly, Coopers were among the first to pioneer low carb beer.
Muddy Waters
They have a history of being ahead of their time. In their home brew products they used to have a Bavarian Lager which was discontinued...I reckon in recent years people have become more educated abouth their beer and think the Bavarian Lager would be quite popular if reintroduced in some form.
