lachstock
Hello, I started brewing the Great Lakes IPA recipe last night. I sprinkled US-05 yeast, but just realised I was supposed to use both the brew can yeast and the US-05 yeast… I’m assuming I just leave it and hope for the best, but wanted to double check that adding the brew can yeast a day later would be a bad idea. Recipe: https://www.diybeer.com/au/recipe/great-lakes-ipa.html Thank you!

Hi @lachstock you can add the other yeast, just carefully remove the lid, sprinkle it is & replace the lid trying not to disturb anything. 1
Tone boy
Hey @lachstock I wouldn’t be too worried about gently lifting the lid and sprinkling over the other yeast. I can’t imagine it doing any harm, and the beer is supposed to be 6.6% so it might appreciate a bit of extra yeast. If it was me I’d do it. 1
