Matty A Posted January 21, 2011 Share Posted January 21, 2011 Depends on lots of different thing such as the type of brew, temperature, how active and healthy the yeast are etc. Good thing is that if it is foaming a lot you probably have a good batc of yeast. Sometimes you get an very active ferment and others it looks like nothing is happening. Look for other signs like condensation or dropping gravity if you are concerned.
