Does anyone have a Xmas story (clean or otherwise) that I could tell at my service club Xmas dinner? A broad minded lot they are, and difficult to offend. I’m quite able to alter, embellish or otherwise adapt it to suit the occasion. What I lack is the comic bit, the sharp, sudden change of direction which is at the heart of every good joke.
