zyx345
If I wanted to hook up a food grade tube to the spigot on my Coopers Fermenting Vessel from the Microbrew Kit so I can bulk prime my beer to a seperate bottling bucket, does anyone know the diameter size I would need? I should note that I am in the US and my local home brew shop has 3/8" and 1/2" diameter standard. Thanks!
Duffman
I'm not sure the exact size, but when I was a brew store I bought a new bottle filler that seemed sturdier. It was 1/2" and it's too small for the hole. You can always get a sample piece of tube at a hardware store and see what fits. Hope that helps! Muddy Waters
I'm not sure of the measurements but I attach my hose with a couple of lenghts that I cut from a bottler or lil botter (or whatever they are called.
PB2
The ID of the transfer hose I used with the Micro-Brew Kit FV is 1/2 inch - if fits over the spigot nicely. I have cut a short length off the bottling valve (little bottler) to act as a connector between the DIY Beer Kit FV spigot and transfer hose, which has an ID of about 10mm.
