DavidC22
Hi all, I've done a quick search via the forums & google but am stilla tad confused. I bought the standard Coopers Brewer's kit & just did my first brew, but... It's been 2 weeks since I bottled it & so I thought I'd give it a try. The head was massive so I was very happy, but it was quite sugary and overcarbonated. From what I've read, there's usually no head if it is too carbonated. I'm a tad confused. I know I jumped the gun a little at two weeks, and it will be better in a few months, but is this normal? If not, can I do anything to rectify it or what can I do better? PS. I used the two carbonation drops per bottle as reccomended on the dvd. Thanks in advance for your help :)

Muddy Waters
Beer certainly does need time in the bottle to improve but I find it strange that the beer is both too sugary and over carbonated. What were the OG and FG David (first and final hyydrometer readings [rightful] )?
