Any good beers to introduce myself to the style???? Andris
you should try your own with some German style aroma hopping. I think, you will fall in love with it, if you like light beers. It's fantastic drink. Coopers have very good German style "Weizen" recipe - if you use it, you wont go wrong and will actually have good idea about German wheat beers as taste will be pretty close. As for commercial brews - Krombacher is my personal favorite - you can actually taste grains in the beer... It's really odd how majority go for Hoegarden - in my personal opinion its bit too dry and too spicy on the finish - you cant shake the spices off even with good smoke :P
