Gluten free beer mix

Recommended Posts

Hi all - my daughter, who is gluten intolerant but loves a beer with Dad, is visiting us over Christmas and I was hoping to make up a gluten-free beer for her but am struggling to come to a decision on which way to go. Bear in mind I am still largely at the 'making beer from a pre-prepared mix in a tin' stage of things.

Any thoughts/suggestions on this (the only real requirement would be that around the gluten i.e. any flavour will do) would be most welcome/helpful thanks.

Gday Lark,

There is a product from white labs called clarityferm. This is for taking chill haze away and making the beer more stable however has a wonderful side effect that it reduces gluten in beer to that is below the international standard of gluten free.

I tested it on a lady at work that basically faints at the sight of a bread roll and she had no symptoms at all.

Theres a few others on this forum that have tried it with great success.

Good luck with the brew and with having a couple with your Daughter.
