MattC9
I'm thinkg about doing a brew in the kitchen instead of the laundry, the laundry has no light however the kitchen does, will light effect the fermenting process? this is not natural light its just the kitchen light. Cheers[bandit]
Andris
I have had all my brews in natural daylight, no direct sunlight, just north-west side, turned out to be fine - if you stick you eye really close to bucket, you can see yeasties watching you from the other side :-)

Muddy Waters
Don't turn your kitchen lights on when brewing [cool]
PB2
Fluoro's cause light strike to the beer when in very close proximity - normal overhead lighting should be okay [cool]
Andris
you can always dress your fermenter in a nice dark t-shirt if you are really concerned about it.
