THIRSTY MATT
hi all, i bought two stubbies of dutch stuff after shopping today just to try. BAVARIA HOLLAND BEER not bad...but did dissapoint as it tastes like a watered down version of CARLSBERG, which i love, same fresh crisp almost piney hop flavour! LA TRAPPE BLOND TRAPPISTENBIER ...pretty good, but seemed like a good belgian rip off. probably a belgian style yeast? lots of estury yeasty flavours (if that makes sense), says its a full malt beer but was lacking a little for mine, has a fruity flavour that tastes like its from the yeast. worth a try definately,,,,,LIQUORLAND is stocking it! IS THERE A TRADITIONAL DUCTH STYLE???? cheers matt
PB2
The Dutch tend to be lager/pilsener drinkers. Heineken and Grolsch are two of the big players.
