Worts Happening
Hi Home Brewers, I am about to run a batch of Coopers Ginger Beer and would like to add some cloves for added taste. I have heard that adding too many may cause an anesthetic affect, so how many should I add to the brew?
rossm
do you want to make an anesthetic or not make an anesthetic?
PB2
Try 8 to 10 cloves, this number seems to be the go on other recipes I have seen.
Worts Happening
Hi Paul & Ross, Ross, thank you for your reply. I was going for the taste more than the anesthetic quality. Paul, thanks for your reply. I might try 8 cloves and see what it tastes like.
