PB2
G'day Doug, the wort tends to look a lot darker in the can. How did the SG sample look once the brew was diluted to 23 litres? Liquid Malt Extract darkens with time (accelerated by exposure to higher temperatures). What is the "Best Before" details on the bottom of the can? doug
G'day Paul Thanks for replying brew has been in the barrel for 2 days now and sample is a caramel colour. The use by date is 15/12/08 so I think all will be well. Cheers Doug
PB2
No worries Doug. Real Ale (at packaging) tends to produce a colour slightly darker than the glass of beer depicted on the can's label.
