Andy New Brewer
HI all just wondering i have just made 3 consecutive mexican cervesa brews, (the family love the stuff, i dont think its to bad myself) back to my question. Should the original gravity be the same each brew or will there be a difference and if so what can cause the difference for each brew. I am not having a significant difference but just a question that i have been asked and i dont know the answer so i thought i would put it to the forum. Cheers Andy 8)
PB2
Apart from there being some margin of error (the human kind) in reading the hydrometer each time: Gravity readings can vary with temperature. The weights of ingredients can vary slightly as can the total volume. Also, you may not have mixed the brew homogenously each time.
