PB2
At what temperature do you ferment your lagers?
Tassie brew
If I'm using a Saflager yeast I ferment at about 12 Degrees. If I don't have access to a Saflager yeast I just use the kit yeast and ferment at around 24 Degrees. Cheers
PB2
If you are using Bavarian Lager or Brewmaster Pilsener it doesn't hurt to throw the kit yeast in as well as the SAF Lager yeast. Also, hydrate the yeast prior to pitching. If you use priming sugar and naturally condition the brew don't worry about lagering. The remaining yeast will clean up the brew nicely. If you force carbonate (normally when kegging) then you wil find the brew benefits from lagering (rack the brew to a sanitised container and store at around 1degC for a week or two).
