Tassie brew Posted July 23, 2006 Share Posted July 23, 2006 Hey guys, just wondering if anyone has any suggestions for the types of hops that would ideally suit dark ales (eg: Coopers Dark Ale or Brewcraft Belgain Ale). PB2 Posted July 23, 2006 Share Posted July 23, 2006 I like to use Fuggles or Styrian Golding. I have a dark on tap at the moment with 1 kg of Light Dry Malt, 500g of Crystal and loads of fuggles - very hoppy IPA style. Cascade would also work quite nicely.
