Tassie brew
Hey there again, a couple of queries about gelatine. 1. Is it worth using gelatine to help clear the brew? If so, 1. How much do I add to the brew? and 2. When do I add it to the brew? (some friends add it at the start when mixing but I'm not sure). Any help would be greatly appreciated. Cheers, Aaron
PB2
I don't use any kind of fining agent. You can only know if finings is for you by trying it for yourself!! From memory, dissolve about two teaspoons in a cup of warm water and gently stir into your brew about one day after the krausen (foam) has died away, being careful not to disturb the yeast sediment. or Rack the brew into a second vessel and add the finings then.
