ash Posted July 20, 2012 Share Posted July 20, 2012 Any ideas for cider brewers,i have put down 2.One a Black Rock Apple & one a Mangrove Jack Pear neither seemed too have any depth to them if that makes any sense,i was thinking about dropping some apple or pear juice in another brew.Any ideas or has someone got a recipe but still using a can mix as base. Muddy Waters Posted July 20, 2012 Share Posted July 20, 2012 I've only made 1 cider and it apparently tasted pretty good to cider drinkers but I didn't like it myself. It was just made from juice as follows: Berri Apple & Pear Juice 3 x 2.4L bottles ALDI Apple Juice 6 x 2L bottles 400g LDM mixed in about 800ml water Made to 20L It doesn't use a can but it is easier (and cheaper).
