Temperature Control

Hi all,

 

Can anybody tell me the best way to keep a constant temperature of a fermenter during fermentation and then the bottled beer during secondary fermentation.

 

 

 

Also is a HEAT PAD better or one of those rings that go around the fermenter.

 

 

 

Just after a few tips now that the weather is so changeable. 8)

G'day Andy, welcome to the board.

 

 

 

I brew all year round and use only a blanket wrapped around the fermenter to maintain temp.

 

 

 

Over a period of 5-10 days I only get a temp. drop of 2 degrees.

 

 

 

Try the simple things first before you shell out your hard earned.
