PB2 Posted February 12, 2006 Share Posted February 12, 2006 The Pale Ale Home Brew with Brew Enhancer 2 made to 23 litres and then primed for secondary fermentation comes out at around 4.3-4.5%A/vol. You can't get a direct reading of % alcohol from a hydrometer. Rather, you need to take an Original Gravity reading and a Final Gravity reading. How did you calculate the % alcohol?
