John1525228445
I finally deceided to give in and brew some Coopers ginger beer for The Other Half.... she doesn't like the real stuff!! I've made up a brew of the non-alco type and we await results. All well and good. There is an alcoholic version, and I noted some interest from from The Other Half, so it seems that we will try that in the very near future. This brings up the question of using Brew Enhancer 2 or Ultra Brew instead of the raw sugar. Has anyone out there had any experience on this? Paley
I have put down two batches - first with dextros (very sweet) second was with sugar and 1 x grated ginger bulb - the second is my choice - both are young (<3 months) so will see how they age over summer. John1525228445
Thanks, Fritz. The grated ginger bulb sounds good. I'll give it a try
The Brew Master
Hi, Everybody. I use 200g of grated ginger & 1kg of raw sugar. Now that makes a very nice brew. Regards, Peter.
