PB2
Jazman, the recipe for Coopers Extra Strong Vintage Ale changes from vintage to vintage. This is not the kind of information that our Master Brewers would offer up. Having said that, "Brew your own real ale at home" by Graham Wheeler, has a number of good extra strong ale recipes which may turn out similar to our latest vintage: For example, on page 153:- Big Lamp OLD GENIE A sumptuous, strong and complex dark beer from the Big Lamp Brewery in Newcastle. Heavy, mouth filling malt; vast bitter-sweet finish with complex banana and goosberry notes. OG - 1068 FG - 1013 Final volume - 23 litres Approx alcohol - 7.4% Unfortunately, we do not have permission from CAMRA Ltd to reproduce their recipes so you'll have to get the book for yourself...sorry!!
